I have to admit, I did get rather overly-concerned about the final look of this page. Those cyprus trees. I could paint them forever. Anyway, to sort of make up for it there’s a new vote incentive finally, a few bits and pieces of concept art for this early part of the story.

Sorry for the delays of the last week, it won’t be a recurring theme! Just one of those weeks.

Hope you guys are enjoying the new art style! I think it’s in full swing now, and I can tell you that I’m enjoying it loads. The pages are coming together in about the third of the time they were taking before, though it probably does help that I’m no longer drawing crazy mage fights. You know, for the moment, anyway.

Nearly forgot to queue up this page, posting on Thursday is weird.

Hope you guys like the double-height update. I thought it’d be cool, so I gave it a go! There’s going to be another (normal-sized) update on Thursday, and maybe we’ll see a familiar face.

I’m also pleased to say that the store is up and running! It’s courtesy of Greg and Jenny over at The Zombie Hunters, for which I’m eternally grateful, because we’ve seen how far I got on the merchandising front when left to my own devices. There’s just a couple of prints of mine up there right now, but that should grow quite quickly.

Finally, DoJ-Con was a big success! It actually made up for all the bits of my computer that died and had to be replaced over the break. I’m looking at you, primary hard drive. Anyway, thanks to all of you that dropped by my table, and hello to any new readers! Particular shout out to Iain for having the best handshake of the day. :)

Welcome back, folks! Twice-a-week updates will be starting next week, so just the cover for this week. Hope you guys like the new cover style. As a reminder, I’ll be at DoJ-Con this coming Saturday, so feel free to drop by my table and say hello! On a related capitalistic note, the promised store is still in the works. It’s out of my hands at the moment, but it should be online pretty damn soon.

On the plus side, I can confirm I’ll have a table at DoJ-Con which is coming up on the 13th of April! So if you’re near Dundee, stop by and I will totally give you a free high five. In the meantime, enjoy April Fools/Game of Thrones day? Sorry for being a bit rubbish and non-participatory.

Just a quick note to say, in typical fashion, things are running a bit late so the new arc will be kicking off a week further on than planned, on April 1st. I promise no April Fools shenanigans, I swear.
