I hadn't actually heard of archivebinge, though it looks pretty cool. My only concern is that what little money I make from the comic is through ad impressions, and obviously if you side-step reading the archive, I lose a wee bit of money. Of course, if the archive size is putting you off reading at all, it's not like I would have made that money anyway. :) If it's going to help people reading through then it seems like a good idea.

I'm not entirely sure my archive is long enough yet to warrant it, though? Looking at the other comics on there, if I did get RMR on there it would be the shortest comic on it by quite a margin. I've not even been running a year after all. Hmm... Thanks for the heads up, I'll have a think on it.

Thanks! It's actually a pretty simple thing to do in Photoshop. Fill a layer with black, add some noise, use a motion blur and then up the contrast a lot. After that, fiddle with the layer blending options (I usually go with either screen or overlay) and lower the opacity so you can still see the image underneath and voila! Instant rain! Hope that covers it, if you need a more detailed run through, drop me an email and I'd be happy to help.

It's because the number of nested comments is limited to five, or else it would end up a bit silly with tiny text boxes. I can change it, though, if anyone thought five was too low, that's just the default.
